Roccapina Beach, Corsica

(4.4/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Set against the backdrop of lush green shrubbery and rolling sand dunes, Roccapina Beach is a fairly popular beach despite its rough access road. You'll know you're going the right way when you see the regal "Lion de Roccapina," a granite rock formation that looks like a lion from the road. There are no facilities at this site, but the nearby campsite has a small snack bar that's open to the public. The wide, flat sandy beach is ideal for games, and the shallow water is great for kids. This sunny inlet beach has very few shady spots so it's a good idea to bring plenty of water and an umbrella or beach tent. • The beach is quite difficult to access (no parking provided) but at the end of his sentence, there is a nice beach Sandy but a little too stale (sand in my eyes). There is also a small Cove for medium size pleasure boats.

  • Do not be discouraged by seeing the somewhat difficult dirt road that leads to this beach and then if you want to walk, it's a nice walk to do because you'll have all your senses: smell of maquis Tickle you the nostrils and when you discover this wonderful beach, you'll take full eyes! Extra sand, turquoise sea, beautiful lion who watches over the place, carved in the cliff... Avoid the summer because too many people!

  • The beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming with children, however the road is quite chaotic to access... but worth the trip!
