Roccapina Beach, Corsica

(4.4/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Set against the backdrop of lush green shrubbery and rolling sand dunes, Roccapina Beach is a fairly popular beach despite its rough access road. You'll know you're going the right way when you see the regal "Lion de Roccapina," a granite rock formation that looks like a lion from the road. There are no facilities at this site, but the nearby campsite has a small snack bar that's open to the public. The wide, flat sandy beach is ideal for games, and the shallow water is great for kids. This sunny inlet beach has very few shady spots so it's a good idea to bring plenty of water and an umbrella or beach tent. • The beach is relatively large, with a few rocks but too known... a lot of seaweed on (perhaps the at the time?) ...

  • In my opinion, the best beach of the island of beauty; Corsica is rich in wild beaches and uncrowded, with beautiful sea and transparent. Among these Plage de Roccapina is the best! Getting there is not easy but repays any effort. If you are in Southern Corsica is the first attraction to be put in the program!

  • Access to this beach is located on the road between Bonifacio and Propriano, is reached via a dirt road of 3 km navigable by car (Sandy or small stones). The beach is beautiful, even in August. There is no service, bring your own water. If you want more privacy, to the right of the beach, watching the sea, take the trail marked not know that takes half an hour to the beach of Erbaju, practically deserted, but beware! The trail is exactly right at the edge of the beach, get another can mean getting very bad!
