  • Loved the gardens around the castle, we brought our own lunch and had a fantastic view. Because went in lunchtime the castle itself (meaning: the tours) was closed and that meant we had the gardens...

  • Very beautiful castle with a fantastic restauration work, pretty well described through numerous panels & pictures. It sure worth a visit.... 😉
  • Worth visiting! The apartments are fascinating. The labyrinth and gardens are beautiful.
  • A beautiful castle where you can see both the impressively decorated interior and the awesome gardens surrounding the castle moat. You can nicely spare several hours here and also have a picnic with your family or friends. One bad thing to mention is that for English speaking visitors is impossible to follow the lecture on French. Still, I'm giving 5 stars because of the efforts given to save from destruction and restore such a valuable piece of history!
  • Fabulous gardens and castle. Don’t miss the guided visit…
  • This place has been carefully restored reflecting several different time periods during its occupation. We had a great guide and there are notebooks in many languages which give a brief history so if the guide doesn't touch on something mentioned in the notebook, you can ask questions. The grounds with the maze and gardens are beautiful. We were there in May and everything was blooming!
