  • A very nice castle, nicely preserved and restored. Nicely decorated and historically very interesting. T The interior of the castle as it was originally. As well as how the residents lived and dressed at the time. Recommended to visit! Take your time for your visit and you will be amazed by the splendor of the castle.
  • We loved the museum's collection and gardens. Amazing pictures, statutes and breathe taking rooms. Good price for the tickets to. For a group of 5 adults, 4 children and a toddler we paid only £27. Definitely worth the visit as we've been really impressed with how those people could preserve all those historical items, cars, furniture and so on. Free car park.
  • Nice castle. Not the most impressive, but it's interesting. Gardens are nice to take a walk or for running. The inside of the castle is also nice to visit, and an exhibition on old cars is hosted in some rooms. If you're in Compiègne, you MUST take a look at this castle !
  • Veey interesting and reasonably priced palace with a special exhibition at the time of my visit. Guided tours are available but as far as I could see only in French. Parking is very close by but cobbled nature of it would make it difficult for those with mobility issues.
  • Castles or as the French call them Chateau are just modern day mansions of the rich imposed on us century later. I have never been a fan nor do i look at them as anything than some rich lord who lorded over peasants for the sake of it.
