  • Picturesque chateau and town. There is a guided tour but I didn't take it, as I wanted to get some photos before the rain appeared. The chateau looked impressive from a distance, as I approached in the car. Even more impressive when you walk around the local area.
  • Very beautiful but the tour around the chateau is very limited as the owner still lives in it and no photos are allowed as its "private". No mention of the fact that you could only go round on a guided tour before paying and the fact that only about 8 rooms would be visited. Disappointing. The ground are lovely but not much to see other than trees and grass, which was is pretty much what the grounds (which are substantial) consists of. The guided tour is max 40 people and crowded so you can barely get in a room at a time. Feels a bit of a money spinner.
  • A bit superficial visit

  • The exterior of the castle is very nice. The problem inside misfortune is depressing. The visit is very short and without great interest (part reached the conclusion that the father of the writer Chateaubriand was a real mental sick). The guide knows his memory text but good emotion to say lady has much. Finally, when we were going: guided tour ended nearly 18 h (time to complete their work) were enough edges with a poor Lord who wanted to stand in the bathroom and told that couldn't close.
