  • ... so-so. Without more beautiful to see, as inside. The directions of Grimaud is something for car and passengers who love small, narrow paths. Ausichtsplattformen there are some who give the views of St.Trop. Arrived is the small parking lot at the foot of the area on the left and is free of charge. From then on continue 700 m walk to the monastery. With reduced mobility may drive to the entrance, there is also a parking place. It is a (unfortunately) restored walls. You can imagine while how the monks have lived. I am somewhat disillusioned that the materials that were used. The entrance reminds me of a business. All figurines, plates, images etc. For me the stark contrast with the things, which work monks. There are also rooms in which you can see interesting videos about the recovery of the Charterhouse. Now in the October ' 17, unfortunately only a few rooms were to visit. The cloister only through Windows. For 6€ / adult, I find it too expensive. We have extended the tour to less than an hour. More was not. The Abbaye you Thoronet felt as interesting, matter of taste is but I.

  • This monastery in ruins, has been beautifully restored by enthusiasts of beauty and history... a success! ... beautifully nestled in the middle of the forest of the Moors, in the town of Collobrières. From Port Grimaud, it takes about 1 hour to reach this Abbey, located at about 8 km before the village of Collobrières. The visit, which lasts about 1 hour to 1 h 30, punctuated by 2 videos, makes you discover the daily life of the nuns. By visiting this place, not only you will be seduced by the beauty of the buildings, but you'll feel soothed by the calm and serenity of the place. The pictures already posts on this site are the exact reflection of the beauty of the place.

  • A beautiful place in the middle of the forest of the Moors, beautifully restored by enthusiasts. A place full of serenity or a small community of sisters living their faith in silence. A parenthesis in time who knows well
