  • This is a work in progress and is being excavated by a local group. These are real trenches exactly as they found them and are most evocative and moving.
  • This place is worth the visit ! They've done a great job recreating trench life. It really brought history life.
  • A very true to life, authentic trench structure, similar to those one sees in WW1 movies. It's obvious that whoever designed the place thought of every detail and did a great job of making it look as realistic as possible. Also, very friendly workers!
  • Best WWI museum in France!
  • The trenches are cool and well made. You do get a sense of how they were build and the difference rooms people were living in. However it was very small. If you just go there to walk around by yourself you can get in and out in 15 minutes even while stopping at every sign you come across to read it. The fee wasn't that high. Only 4€ for adults and 2€ for children but it's still not worth doing. It's done by volunteers though so at least that's a reason for paying You should rather go to a nearby Fort like Fort Vaux or Fort Douaumont. The entry price is the same actually and you get a full video tour around the massive underground Fort and get your money's worth.
