  • So quiet. Hardly anyone there which made it very peaceful. Unfortunately the visitors centre was closed as it is following American not French guidance for COVID. Easy to get to and impressive.

  • While the monument is impressive, the visitor center/museum is the treasure on this stop. It provides excellent descriptions of what happened in this area during the Great War. Plan at least an hour.....  more

  • Hidden gem! Great museum, very modern and informative (and free entry!) “Visitors center” is a huge understatement - the museum does an excellent job giving an overview of American involvement in WW1 in a comprehensive yet manageable way. Plus great presentation, mix of photos, artifacts, panels etc. Just needs better signposting as it is too easy to miss on the far side of the monument.
  • What an awesome monument! A fitting tribute to those that made the ultimate sacrifice. Spectacular view & a nice little gallery inside. Well worth a visit.
  • Very moving. We arrived around 430. They close promptly at 5pm. Taps is played as they take down the 2 American flags that preside over the monument and grave site.
  • Superb place.. you have a nice view to the city. Calm.
  • A very stunning and beautiful .monument. well placed and very memorable.
