Champagne Pannier is the largest champagne house in the western Marne Valley. It was founded in 1899 and Pannier's cuvées are distributed duty-free by a network of wine merchants, delicatessens, and off-trade outlets as well as exported to over twenty countries. In addition to the medieval cellars, which are one of the six proposed sites for the UNESCO charter, you can also visit their state of the art 300-seat amphitheater. • Visited on my own to do a few tastings. Was served by a lovely lady who went above and beyond to make a memorable experience.

  • An amazing history and tour of the caves learning about how champagne is made, followed by champagne tasting and canapés.
  • Great tour guide. It's a great place to learn about how champagne is made. Nice visit down into the caves where it was made and stored. It's cool down in there even on a hot summer day. I was hot until I went down in there, and it was about 54 degrees. The tour guide said it's ALWAYS that temperature down there. That was pretty cool.
  • Pre Reservation was not needed, we just walked right in to the caves. No crowds, felt almost like a private tour (but when reading other reviews, it might be good idea to book prior visit). Wonderful staff gave us lots of information about champagne. A perfect start on our one week tour in champagne.
  • Visited with my 80 year old Dad exploring where his dad fought in WWI and had a great visit. The docent was very interested in my grandfather's story and told us so much about the champagne operations and how the caverns were used by villagers during the war. Great place, loved it.
  • Great champagne house. Loads of parking. Very friendly staff speak French and English. Tour is very good, full of history and interesting caves. Tasting is very nice. Good choice of souvenirs in gift shop.
