Vallee Blanche, Chamonix

(4.6/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Catch some powder at Vallee Blanche, where the snowboards and skis swoosh by fast on the ground  while the aerial tramway swings overhead. If you're a daredevil, then the slopes offer an off-piste vertical descent of 2,700 m (8,858.3 ft). The terrain here is popular due to an open, wild feeling. After you’ve conquered the runs and explored the Mont Blanc massif glacier, stop by the Requin Hut for a hearty meal and drinks. • The place is fascinating but also disturbing when we see over 30 years operated back of the glacier. Got the Red rail of Montenvers, gondola to take and then still 440 steps to reach the level of the glacier and cave. The landscape is breathtaking. It's beautiful

  • Coming out of the tunnel of ice at Aiguille du Midi for a sign announcing that from that point only with own equipment for rock climbing and preferably with accredited guides, so it's no use disrespect the rule of thumb that is security. That's where climbers, skiers and riders of paragliders start step that will take them to the top of Europe, are approximately 1000 m to reach the top of Mont Blanc. The view of the mountain is wonderful, but it's not for everyone.

  • My last descent is not recent, 4 years ago, but my first descent is of 50 years ago. If you're lucky enough to have a sunny day is an unforgettable experience and agrees to descend slowly to admire the view. It should be a guide and is suitable for a moderately experienced skier.
