Les Grands Montets, Chamonix

(4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Les Grands Montets is the home of the most difficult pistes in Europe. If you’re ready to strap on a snowboard, then try out the board/skier cross park. The area receives less sun than other which conditions stay good until late spring. So, if you’re a pro, or an experienced enthusiast, than these are the slopes for you. Hotels and restaurants are located near the slopes if this is your favorite spot; however, most come for a day trip on the area's challenging slopes. Use our Chamonix travel itinerary planner to arrange your visit to Les Grands Montets and other attractions in Chamonix.

  • I stayed twice at this hotel in 2005 and in 2008, both holidays left me with great memories: excellent location (just near the cable car), great rooms, wonderful lobby with open fire, friendly staff, great swimming pool and jacuzzi in the snow (the kids stiull rave about it), great breakfast. They even helped us having dinner there. I highly recommend it. Great value!
  • Very good reception, smiling, pleasant staff. Beautiful location, with a large very attractive garden when the weather permits. But we booked a stay with a preferential rate and suddenly, very quaint room, at the end of a corridor, look shabby. That old bathroom. not the level for a so-called 4-star. Level 2 not more. Flat also on breakfast: impossible to ask eggs dish e.g. hot drinks in the morning to the Distributor... limit for the number of stars
