Aiguilles Rouges, Chamonix
(5/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web)
Marked by an iron-rich scarlet ribbon, Aiguilles Rouges sit just opposite Mont Blanc. This mountain range is a paradise for hikers with its southeastern face's collection of varying habitats, including a range of flower species. • Climb the Aiguille du midi cable car was the experience + amazing from the French Alps, I suggest not to buy a ticket over the internet because the weather in the region of the Alps is very fickle and if is closed will have no view of the surrounding mountains.

  • One of the most beautiful balconies on the massif of Mont Blanc! Paths that wind through the nature Reserve of the Red needles offer magnificent points of view. Some are more difficult than others (many scales to spend) but fun for experienced hikers. It's worth to climb up to the White Lake. The other side of the coin however: very popular trails and a lot of attendance depending on the period and time of the day. The Reserve of Passy nearby offers equally beautiful views with a little more peace on the roads. You can cross the UTMB runners if you walk around late August.

  • I didn't climb all the way but I really enjoyed hiking around the area. I would recommend you take at least half a day to enjoy it best.
