  • A small church near the castle of Chambord. It is worth to enter, visit and/or pray. Tour will take care ok. a 15-minute drive away. You should spend these few minutes. I got a blue painted and decorated with a ceiling resembling a little St. Mary's Church.

  • After the visit to the Castle, we entered this nice little church. We learned that in 1944, the parish priest (of Alsatian origin and speaking perfect German) had negotiated with the SS officer so that it saves the lives of 40 hostages and renounce it set fire to the Castle, as well as all works of art that were there. Thank you Mr George Abbot! Only downside to the visit: next to us was a couple who looked at the Church by talking quietly (in a low voice). A woman responsible for monitoring then started shouting: "Silence! It is a place of prayer here! "." Where is the lack of respect?

  • Small church in which we regularly. A decoration entirely directed towards the idea of a restoration of the monarchy in the 19th. A Board, do not forget that this church is still a place of worship in function: mass is celebrated every Sunday at 11:30. The behavior must be respectful (if you get kicked out of the church because of it... don't worry it's normal!) and the visit must be done outside the hours of ceremonies: is not a museum but a church that is still used to many residents of the village of Chambord and villages nearby who have always lived near the field. Therefore, to be respectful to their living areas. However... If you find "a native" (or the priest!), some knowledgeable as their pocket and would be delighted to answer your questions if they see you interested and respectful of the place!
