  • A small provincial Museum does not claim exclusiveness of its collection, but it may be interesting to fans of ancient Egypt.

  • We, my friends and I had the chance to have a guided tour of the exhibition "From Rome to Babylon", a true happiness which allows to replace the historical characters that we all in the place and at the right time. The presentation is very nice and the objects are gorgeous (bronzes, ceramics, pottery, vases,...). It's really amazing to say that more than 2500 years ago it already existed an incredible mastery of some molding or shaping techniques. Cards to replace the various finds in good places and the passage to see geography evolution of the territories over time. The rest of the Museum is also very interesting, the etchings and engravings are beautiful. The rooms devoted to archaeology and prehistory are also very interesting. Visitors to the area will find their account by discovering, for example, the history of the construction of the bridge Saint Laurent and many discoveries made in the Saône to its surroundings. Really we didn't pass the time. Book at least two hours if you want to enjoy the collections.
