  • Closed three season four (except in summer). That is if you go like me a beautiful weekend in November. After it is really the image of the country, to abandonment, only sheep grazing peacefully.

  • A major attraction that belongs to the population of el Pertús fair (France) at the border with Spain... A large military fort, which is kept in very good condition and which dates approximately from the sixteenth century, though earlier in the place existed a medieval castle... A strong military characterized by the famous architecture of Vauban and which served as a point of reference in several conflicts war... It is a lonely place that gives us breathtaking views of the Alt Empordà Catalan and Vallespir Frances, you reach the village of el Pertús Hill more high about two kilometers. Visit the Fort is quite easy, because it has parking and even a bicycle... The only problem that we find are the dates for visit the fortification on the inside as it is only between June and September 18. The entry is not very face €4 and €3 children. It is an ideal place for hiking or walking the dogs. Quite advisable and hope next year to go to see inside.

  • Wonderful view! prefer the guided tour (€5) in order to make the most of the secrets of the fort. In addition to the fort exhibitions are accessible.

  • A site to visit. Very friendly and extremely well maintained. Superb views and beautiful pictures to do. One downside, they do not take the CB, or holiday vouchers. The 21st century is not yet arrived at Perthus.

  • I love all of these castles which are our history of France. A must see at least once in his life. At the same time beautiful exhibitions of paintings in some rooms of the Castle.
