  • A little off of the circuits, damage because presents very furnished rooms, authentic, with music and explanations in French but also explanations in English, explaining very educational, with numerous details that deserve more explanatory, should stay there over 2 hours to get a good view of the things very well put in values e, revisited

  • A new visit to the castle of Montpoupon, for me the third over a few years, this Thursday, February 9 with my granddaughter, "small" Castle of the Loire on a human scale especially when it comes to his big brothers (Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont, and Chenonceau). But back to Montpoupon, a fun and interactive course (with a questionnaire for children in the form of game and investigative, interesting) that begins with the "cats tour" suite in the castle which tells the story of a girl and her father in a series of scenes on a ground floor and two floors, through room to eat, games room bathroom, office work, lobby and rooms and when as we, you're alone in the Castle, it's really impressive and interesting, suite and end of the course by the kitchen and the wine cellar while listening to the song of the pickers, winemakers and other hunters then the last Tower or office and library trips and the chapel are on the first and second floor. Apart from all this, in the other buildings of the great body of farm inside the courtyard of the Castle, a very complete Museum of hunting, with photos, paintings, trophies, costumes, stables, beautiful loft, weapons, rifle, cutlery, hunting horns, naturalized animals, explaining various and interesting on the life and customs of animals and hunting so techniques that various tables and explanations on hunting dogs and horses as well as workshops and maintenance of this whole world of hunting, venery and the horse. Nice place and nice Park with a fun course looping (not open to the public that day) but I knew him and had already done it, really a castle to discover.

  • The castle is beautiful, interactive, and very interesting! Quiet walk in different parts of the area, I highly recommend! In addition, you should see Hermès specially made for the Castle Square.

  • This chateau and its interesting collection and museum was so unexpected. I was just dropping by on my way to Chaumont, and was so pleasantly surprised that I stayed there a lot longer, and it become one of the highlights of my tour of the Loire. The rooms are so interesting, with some great pieces and stories. Loved the collection of Hermes scarfs! And the museum was really interesting! Not that I approve of hunting, but I loved learning about the pomp and ceremony of it - not something I typically associate with the French. Very, very good.
  • Furnished as it was in 1971. Lovely to wander about. English description for everything.
  • Great place to visit with kids. The furnished rooms appeal to the imagination. it is not large and has many details.
  • Had a great time at the Château watching the hunting teams and exploring the grounds.
  • A small castle (private) very interactive at the level of the visit. We were lucky during our visit to attend a presentation of hunting. Very interesting despite only a bit long for neophytes. I highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.
