  • Very nice environment and Castle provided making honor the hunting in the region. Notice the squares framed Hermès collection.

  • Particularly interesting in this dedicated essentially private castle visit to hunting. In each room the owner's family made small comments on objects or life of a member of the family. This family history is traced to simple but lively way. We really get to the game of the story that is told to us also with paintings, photos and family trees. This castle has not of course the ostentation of the castles of the Loire, but we much more hangs by his way of looking at the life of the former and current owners. The stables are also well rendered as they existed at the time large hunts. Highly recommended visit.

  • Very nice, interesting and alive. Beautiful pieces to see, including the kitchen and his collection of copper pots, furnished part of the Castle give the impression that locals come to leave the room, a lot of objects, furniture and things to see. All the hunting part is very interesting, well-documented and fun even for those who are not particularly interested in hunting. Well designed, some games for children. One of the best visits I could do in this area.

  • This chateau and its interesting collection and museum was so unexpected. I was just dropping by on my way to Chaumont, and was so pleasantly surprised that I stayed there a lot longer, and it become one of the highlights of my tour of the Loire. The rooms are so interesting, with some great pieces and stories. Loved the collection of Hermes scarfs! And the museum was really interesting! Not that I approve of hunting, but I loved learning about the pomp and ceremony of it - not something I typically associate with the French. Very, very good.
  • Furnished as it was in 1971. Lovely to wander about. English description for everything.
  • Great place to visit with kids. The furnished rooms appeal to the imagination. it is not large and has many details.
  • Had a great time at the Château watching the hunting teams and exploring the grounds.
  • A small castle (private) very interactive at the level of the visit. We were lucky during our visit to attend a presentation of hunting. Very interesting despite only a bit long for neophytes. I highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.
