  • Classic vicissitudes experienced by the religious buildings, as well as the castles over the centuries, have reduced what would certainly be a majestic Abbey. But he almost nothing remains of the original novel (12th century), or authentic reconstruction of the 15th, following the destruction during the wars of religion. The Abbey is currently still a style of the fifteenth, she is due to choice stopped at the seventeenth to rebuild as well. It is therefore not strictly speaking of fifteenth century authentic. The monumental staircase in the Conventual building door however much the brand of the seventeenth, as well as the refectory and the kitchen. Using the staircase one reaches the first floor, which houses a Museum, of variable interest in the monastic cells. The Church of our Lady is interesting for the brightness of the nave and of the collateral, as well as for the elegant lines of its columns. In the narthex, the original Romanesque portal, heavily carved with strange figures, should be reported.
