  • out of the ferrata path make a small detour in this Chapel: relaxing, nice view and a volunteer caring for you to share the history of this site. Thanks to him

  • Certainly the most beautiful tour in Cavaillon. Introduce her to your friends and your family, they will not regret it. Go to feet starting at the stairs next to the tourist office. After a nice climb we reach the top of the Hill St. Jacques or offers to you the Durance on the right, the city at your feet and on the left the Luberon and Mont Ventoux. In amount one can we discover an orientation table with details of the surrounding, and even higher view here is the small chapel of St. Jacques. No noise, very quiet and very clean with his well-tended garden. It's just a shame that we cannot take the tour all the time... Don't forget your camera. Next to the chapel there is a tap with fresh water, which helps out many summer days... Enjoy your visit.

  • The Chapel is located on the St Jacques Hill which dominates the lower town of Cavaillon. His visit is virtually inseparable from a nice walk. If you have time, allow at least an hour or two to admire the view over the rooftops of the city and the river Durance. If you are athletic enough, add the rise by the stairs located against the building of the Tourist Office. The site is especially nice when the almond trees are in bloom that create an atmosphere that has much more charm. Roman Provence style chapel date from the XII and has undergone significant transformations in the course of the sixteenth century. Many hermits occupied it, and since the 15th century, the names of about twenty of them are known. See brochure at the Tourist Office, place of the Clos. Opening: 15 June to 30 September, daily except Tuesday, from 15: 00 to 18: 30 pm. Guided tours for groups. 04 90 71 32 01 such Cavaillon OT. Excellent reception.
