  • Passing through the perigord I visited the milandes Castle. The latter has been beautifully restored and submitted an impressive collection devoted to josephine baker. The Park is beautiful, the falconry very successful show. There are activities for children: immersion in an Aviary of birds, falconry initiation. We spent a wonderful day

  • Very nice Castle has some via Joséphine Baker who is perfectly and precisely evoked interest. Besides, everything is well maintained. Moving visit especially in the kitchen... The bird show is great too. I would highly recommend. Kudos to the owners for their working memory and which in addition are very accessible.

  • the milandes Castle is very nice outwardly and houses inside a dedicated Museum has Joséphine Baker. We got a real pleasure throughout the visit. Audio phones we give us was the arrival, allowing us a visit was our rhythm. The gardens are very well maintained and pleasant with a little chairs everywhere to enjoy a moment of relaxation in this environment. The visit added a falconry show. Very good value for money. To do but it is possible that young children are lonely.

  • Lovely chateau on the outside and I was pleasantly surprised by the story of the owner inside. Josephine Baker was a rockstar and a thinker ahead of her times. Throughout my time there, I really gained an appreciation of her and I enjoyed learning about her - I'd never heard of her before then. Rooms were amazing, especially the bathrooms. Photos not allowed inside the house. I wish the postcard selection had been better - I wanted to take away a reproduction of one of the cool photos or posters in the house but there weren't any good ones and the jpg print quality was poor. Sat in on the falconry display as well. It was mostly in French so I didn't really understand what they were saying, but the birds were cool, and it was really interesting. The gardens are beautiful. It was a very enjoyable visit
  • The castle owned by Josephine Baker. Really nice, with a lot of pictures, lot of furniture... Very interesting.
  • Beautiful castle with interesting museum on Josephine Baker. Great bird show, nice bistro.
  • The birdshow is a nice addon for children. Great visit!
  • A very interesting place to visit and a good story behind it.
