Today, it is best known as the former home of entertainer Josephine Baker, who restored this "Sleeping Beauty" castle in the late 1940s. • Lovely chateau on the outside and I was pleasantly surprised by the story of the owner inside. Josephine Baker was a rockstar and a thinker ahead of her times. Throughout my time there, I really gained an appreciation of her and I enjoyed learning about her - I'd never heard of her before then. Rooms were amazing, especially the bathrooms. Photos not allowed inside the house. I wish the postcard selection had been better - I wanted to take away a reproduction of one of the cool photos or posters in the house but there weren't any good ones and the jpg print quality was poor. Sat in on the falconry display as well. It was mostly in French so I didn't really understand what they were saying, but the birds were cool, and it was really interesting. The gardens are beautiful. It was a very enjoyable visit
