  • It starts with a long and pleasant walk through the path that starts from the country and climbs to the top of the fortress through a forest inhabited by lively Chipmunks in the first part that opens then the sunlight and becomes a real way of the cross with a lot of stations in the second. On the right you see the ruins, should be the ancient city. The route has at times of big stones but nothing to worry about, when you get to the top is notredame du roc in diminare Valley. The scenery is remarkable and behind the church stand out a Headless Statue and a Board that represents what you see on the horizon. Recommend you do climb before lunch or dinner because physical exertion stimulates pleasantly appetite.

  • We had been planning to climb the Chapel, because surely placing invited to admire the scenery from above, but perhaps because of the fall season, the path expected to get there was a forest, with tall grass, dirt, bushes and trees that stood in the way.

  • After a day of driving we went to the chapel. Of from the town of Castellane we did there a good 25 minutes. Once above we got a beautiful view over the village and the surrounding area.

  • Beautiful!
  • Hike very nice up the Chapel (30 minutes to rise), top view. The Church is well maintained, to be seen at least once!
