  • You want to travel to Australia for a reasonable price? The Australian Park waiting for you. Little ones can go in search of small gold, see animals up close. A nice family outing.

  • The admission price is a bit expensive but we have a good time in close contact with ostriches, kangaroos, Wallaby, and parakeets. Besides giving dining in the Aviary with the parakeets is to absolutely do. The cultural and part on the history of l ' Australia are all interesting. Many explanations on the part of the team which is nice to understand these animals. See: albino kangaroos and parakeets.

  • price a little excessive but our children themselves are amazed throughout the visit. Feed the ostriches and enter the Aviary were the highlights of the day

  • Cracking day out! Don't expect too much but too be out in the sun! Enjoy the uniqueness of it and just also enjoy the cost effective date out! Cheap dayout and make the most of a lovely day out with Kangaroos, wallabies and bird feeding out of hands!
  • The park isn't spectacular in terms of animals or landscaping. But for small kids (ours 1 and 3 yr old) it's very nice. It's quite small, you won't lose them easilly. There are little puzzles and games everywhere, and there's a nice playground. And ofcourse ostriches and kangaroos!
  • Go there only if ALL of the following conditions are met: 1) You have enough time to spare (waste) in Carcassonne, 2) No good weather to swim in the nearby Lac de La Cavayère, 3) You have child(ren) under 10
  • Small park nice to have a good time with your family. It is far from the big zoo big budget but I loved the tour performed by passionate employees who have allowed us to approach very closely the animals to see even touch or feed them. It's part of his charm 👍

  • Discovered during a school outing, this visit is from more enriching for children as for adults. The big plus: be able to approach the wallaby and even pet them (if they want). Very competent and teachers animators have captured children. The site is nice and quickly accessible from the motorway. The offer of a free ticket to a child discount at the end of visit incentive to go back and discover this beautiful park a little atypical family. If you go to Carcassonne, feel free to have a look you'll love!

Where to stay in Carcassonne

Although the picturesque La Cite is a tempting place to stay, consider the quieter and more affordable La Bastide Saint Louis down the hill. La Bastide provides easy access by foot to the walled La Cite for daily tours and peace and quiet after dark.
