Although the picturesque La Cite is a tempting place to stay, consider the quieter and more affordable La Bastide Saint Louis down the hill. La Bastide provides easy access by foot to the walled La Cite for daily tours and peace and quiet after dark.

  • Well worth the visit if a little crowded. Do stay away from the chocolate and nougat shops though as an absolute rip off as you pay by weight and get easily caught out. Nice place to fill in a couple ...  more »
