  • Maybe there was baggage screening in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks. I'm lined up to buy tickets, but basically is one-way from entering crowded didn't feel so. Walking the ramparts the castle is almost nothing, so its structure and enjoyed over the landscape. Walk through intact walls and go out in the Church. Long-awaited so come on the walk.

  • We had a fantastic full day out here. There is so much to see and do. Easy walk from car parks. I wouldn't go high season because of the crowds
  • Very cool to walk through the old keep. The restoration is impressive. After the keep, you can then walk around about half of the ramparts.
  • Interesting place with excellent views from the ramparts and a shop with some good books on the Cathars, and quality gifts.
  • Interesting, lots to see. Hard to pick renovations from original features. Worth a visit.
  • Well worth the entry to be able to explore the walls.
  • Must see, on a day with lower temperatures , great family trip.
