  • It has two enormous cupolas on pendentives, image of a Byzantine Church, its height is impressive, about 32 m, this really only can be seen from inside and outside course, bird's-eye view. From the street where it is located is not appreciated how big that is this Cathedral. Inside, apart from the domes (one of them is also decorated with frescoes from the 16TH century), there are several graves and you can appreciate the precious stained glass windows that has its choir. On the outside, really nice, a Romanesque portal with archivolts headed by an eardrum full of sculptures representing Bible stories but that care with very fine detail.

  • A stop to visit the Cathedral of St Etienne is mandatory during a visit in Cahors. A large building surrounded by other impressive buildings.
