  • Small museum with some pieces, but a great sense of place... it feels like being in a Renoir painting. Well documented in both French and English, and easily worth an hour of your time. Hard to get to by foot, however- narrow road with no sidewalks.
  • This is an enormous, gorgeous home by any standards, and has been lovingly maintained and restored. There is a lift in the house, good as there are three stories. The views are wonderful, and many times you can look out over the landscape and see exactly what he was painting. The grounds have been thoughtfully maintained, with statuary in the gardens. His work with other painters is highlighted, and some of their work, relevant to Renoir's home, work, and family life is on display here as well. This is a must for anyone who loves Renoir and Impressionism. Buy the ticket with the entrance to the Grimaldi and save money.
  • Significant life experience to walk and visit where Renoir lived and painted during the sunset of his life!
  • Interesting to experience the environment where he lived and worked. Very few pieces of significance are exhibited however
  • Small museum, worth 30 minutes of visit. You should only visit it when you're in the neighborhood
