  • Quick visit, no interaction in this Museum, some works hanging on the walls, nothing exceptional.

  • Auguste Renoir: painter of the happy life ;) THE IMPRESSIONIST (1864-1883) Renoir period has left a considerable, necessarily unequal, not because of its prolific character: more than 4 000 paintings, or a number greater than that of the works of Manet, Cezanne and Degas met.

  • The visit to the Renoir Museum presents a double interest: the Park of olive-trees, several hundred years old (for some 500 years) citrus, shut up, and the home of the painter Auguste Renoir. It is easy to understand the choice of the artist to live his last years to the Collettes! The Museum, restored with the will to present internally and externally at the same time plunges the visitor in a pleasant but cold atmosphere! the workshops of the painter lack life, too empty! On the balcony of the House of Madame Renoir we discover a great view of the Castle from the top of Cagnes, the Bay, and cap d'Antibes, imagining the green space at the time. This is a place to discover for a fabulous moment.

  • This is an enormous, gorgeous home by any standards, and has been lovingly maintained and restored. There is a lift in the house, good as there are three stories. The views are wonderful, and many times you can look out over the landscape and see exactly what he was painting. The grounds have been thoughtfully maintained, with statuary in the gardens. His work with other painters is highlighted, and some of their work, relevant to Renoir's home, work, and family life is on display here as well. This is a must for anyone who loves Renoir and Impressionism. Buy the ticket with the entrance to the Grimaldi and save money.
  • Very worth a visit. Not far from coast.
  • A special time with my sister visiting all the homes and studios of the Impressionists. We designed our own art tour in the south of France. We played in Renoir's studio dreaming and pretending we were living in this era. Dancing around like silly sisters only to discover we were on camera when we returned downstairs. The gardens and yard are beautiful and again a wonderful place to let your mind wander back in time and enjoy some of Renoir's work.
  • Very nice Park for tea with the children. However I expect more than "staged" in the House. It is empty... Yet it would be easy to add some accessories to make it more alive.

  • I loved the free parking, the hall home, the huge garden and of course the Museum with its staff to listen to visitors. Small default the path in the ground in front of the terrace of the bar self-service: too much dust for each car. At TAR emergency.
