  • The Renoir Museum is perhaps the best of its kind in the Museum. Renoir worked and lived in the hillside, in a magnificent but cosy Villa until his death. Everything is still as an artist olusi gone on hiatus. The works will provide an adequate framework for the artist's development lifecycle. The whole is to be experienced, life has been real estate. If possible, you should look at the Villa dramatised in the film taiteilijadta, the finest beaches contribute to liven up the buildings. Can the times, only in the 60 's built into the voiee rapid spoiling the atmosphere. In the summer, the parking lot area.

  • Visited the Villa in February. The place is very atmospheric. Beautiful villa. Preserved furniture, paintings of the great Renoir. There are paintings, which until then was not familiar. From the Windows of homes enjoy wonderful views of the city and the sea. A lovely garden. Definitely worth a wander between Orange and olive trees. Especially afflict the huge old olive trees, mysterious. The whole Villa is permeated by the Sun. Only time-the Museum is very inconvenient, particularly if you get yourself on foot from the railway station. Far and insecure, because we have to go on the narrow road where the track is not available for pedestrians on turns not seen walking machines. Need to tune into that go far despite this magnificent Museum.

  • The museum is located in Renoirs former home and still looks as it did in his day. Many of his most famous paintings are in major galleries around the world, but there is still a reasonable selection ...  more »

  • This is an enormous, gorgeous home by any standards, and has been lovingly maintained and restored. There is a lift in the house, good as there are three stories. The views are wonderful, and many times you can look out over the landscape and see exactly what he was painting. The grounds have been thoughtfully maintained, with statuary in the gardens. His work with other painters is highlighted, and some of their work, relevant to Renoir's home, work, and family life is on display here as well. This is a must for anyone who loves Renoir and Impressionism. Buy the ticket with the entrance to the Grimaldi and save money.
  • Very worth a visit. Not far from coast.
  • A special time with my sister visiting all the homes and studios of the Impressionists. We designed our own art tour in the south of France. We played in Renoir's studio dreaming and pretending we were living in this era. Dancing around like silly sisters only to discover we were on camera when we returned downstairs. The gardens and yard are beautiful and again a wonderful place to let your mind wander back in time and enjoy some of Renoir's work.
  • Very nice Park for tea with the children. However I expect more than "staged" in the House. It is empty... Yet it would be easy to add some accessories to make it more alive.

  • I loved the free parking, the hall home, the huge garden and of course the Museum with its staff to listen to visitors. Small default the path in the ground in front of the terrace of the bar self-service: too much dust for each car. At TAR emergency.
