  • Disappointing visit to the Castle. Very beautiful outside but inside room not many parts laid out except one. In more we was monitored from beginning to end by staff not welcoming at all (no Hello and no one smile). Visit of the Interior of the castle made in 20 minutes while the saleswoman told us it takes 45 minutes just for the Castle. We were so disappointed that we did not even visit the gardens go that we paid for.

  • It is true that the furniture is lacking, but the story of Roger de Bussy Rabutin worth the detour. The speaker guide made us live during more than an hour 1/2 the manners of the Court of Louis XIV with a lot of realism. A real delight. The collection of paintings is impressive. The visit of the Park and the moat is very nice.

  • Visit of the kitchen; just a table in the middle and a few utensils scattered. On the ground floor, two rooms devoted to the paintings. On the first floor, large Gallery of portraits. Positives, the furnished room and portraits of the ladies of the Court, the small chapel as well as the well-kept gardens. The asking price is not worth the visit.

  • A small castle far from the major tourist sites of the region. But a small castle filled with wonders and led by a guide who knows very well his subject. It should not hesitate to make the detour for hundreds of arrays (really necessary to understand and appreciate guide) and gardens.

  • Nothing that the detour is earned for the garden

  • The count de Bussy-Rabutin, general of the armies of Louis XIV, great lover of women, but who had right to the compassion of his famous cousin, the Marquise de Sevignee, which he was in love, for getting kicked out of Versailles for the publication of an irreverent book, cease to rehash his despite he immortalized in the paintings lining its castle. A jewel in a sea of greenery. A double if pleasure taking the guided tour that reveals the hidden meaning of murdered maxims.
