  • We managed our visit in the one hour before the gates closed for lunch at 1.00, but this was ample time to take in the interior and exterior. The whole has a rather charming air of semi-disrepair...

  • I went to this chateau only because it was close to where I was and it was on the paper map I picked up. But it was seriously an amazing chateau!! The story of Bussy and the paintings around the inside of the chateau was fascinating and it was a really beautiful building. The gardens were pretty, the staff really helpful and friendly and it was altogether a lovely 2 hours spent wandering around. Highly recommended
  • The Chateau and it's grounds were well laid out, the staff helpful and engaging and I felt was good value afternoon entertainment.
  • Having visited Versailles and Fontainebleau, we wanted to visit Bussy Rabutin as it was linked to Louis 14th. It was absolutely wonderful and we spent a very pleasant couple of hours looking around the Chateau and the gorgeous rooms. The gardens are quite small but the maze is fun!
  • Fantastic chateau, owned by Roger de Bussy Rabutin. He was exiled to the Chateau by Louis XIV in 1666 after writing a book about the Kings affairs. It's open every day in the morning and afternoon. 8euros for an adult to tour the house and garden. English pamphlet and French guide. Free parking, toilets and small gift shop.
  • Gorgeous!
