  • This castle of the 12th century is worth the visit. We stayed two pleasant days. The meal prepared by the chef booked us a surprise: my wife and I never ate a delicious duck breast. We stayed in a huge room in a Castle Tower. A real dream! Unfortunate however that this castle is also well maintained that it deserves. But it's understandable because it would cost a fortune.

  • Castle to the unique history that saw the Bourbons... Ancient commanderie of the Knights Templar, this fortress saw Borgia change its structure, Henri IV's is housed, the Bourbons lived surprising stories... In short, both by his story that his architecture, do not miss it but... There are non-assistance to endangered heritage... Only 4 people over 9 months to manage the hotel... So multitasking staff, idle and exhausted... Because the Bourbons do more live there recently (the Countess died 2 months ago) and were no longer owners 18 years... This castle is left abandoned by the current owner, it's a shame... Everything seems to be done with odds and ends, no quality in the infrastructure. The waitress was nice but it was not enough to allay our fears. The room is clean but do not look into the details... Don't forget your shower gel, ultra mini sample is only made available to... For what is the restaurant... The kitchen is on the ground floor, room on the 1st with a corridor to cross with one person serving... Despite his good will and his energy, someone is missing... The Hall is very nice but then again... The details that "kill"... Candelabra of Askew electrified including half of the light bulbs are missing or do not work... Of the same ilk, chairs plastic cheap (sic!) and besides not matching in the gardens, or piles of paper TV collection of CB lying around, dusty, or even a girl who hit you and you wonder what her job because she does absolutely nothing when we talk to him, and does not include certain simple concepts of service in the hotel industry... Anyway, we had a very nice time anyway because the waitress for dinner was also an excellent guide on our prior visit of the Castle. But there is still this feeling of anger to see a magnificent heritage abused and underexploited. To see that much is still possible. Wish that kind patrons are interested in quickly...

  • The castle of Busset combines the medieval to the Renaissance. It was owned by the non-regnante branch of the direct descendants of St. Louis and was bought by Mr. DUTLI. At the moment a few rooms have been restored very roughly. The food and service are at the height.

  • The Castle has blossomed! The difficult early years seem to be over. Excellent food, clean room, attentive and friendly staff, a beautifully landscaped Castle Park, beautiful surroundings at the pool. The castle is only to recommend. Children and dogs are welcome.
