  • The reputation of the Abbey of Daoulas is certainly more to do, but the garden is more beautiful, whether it's the medicinal garden or garden walk. Chairs and armchairs scattered at the edge of the water or near the showroom, plan to enjoy the beauty of the place. This year the exhibition is titled "skin-deep" and shows the significance of the skin in different societies at different times or in different aspects. This ethnological look is illustrated by readings of stories of travelers of the 18th century, testimony of doctors and sociologists. It's very interesting and well discover aspects that may not necessarily to be considered. The cafeteria is charming and deserves to be expanded and better known. Everywhere the welcome is warm and smiling.

  • A very nice walk in the alleys of the garden, not to mention the cloister, you will leave with the desire to grow your herbs or simply to consult a book of remedies from our great mothers. ...

  • Always nice expos, my last visit: a series of photos on the Rajis, a people who harvest honey in trees at a staggering height. And also a beautiful garden, with the pharmacopoeia of yesteryear: a sign for each plant its medical use.

  • Do not consider this place as a single cloister with its garden of medicinal herbs (although this is very interesting). During our visit, we were the most marked, they are exhibitions. A photo exhibition in the garden, on the theme of marriage in all its States, its origins and its peculiarities. And also an original exhibition, created especially for Daoulas. Entitled "Little arrangements with love", it is dedicated to love and marriage, but it is far from conventional. Everything is implemented in a playful, Visual way, with props and presentations that are out of the ordinary. The specifics of marriage in some cultures, marriage for all, dating sites. Everything is covered to see love with a new eye. I didn't think this expo would interest me as much. And more, what is nice is that all of the city plays the game and in the different streets, there are panels with pictures related to the theme.

  • Interest, but this place has little to do with French culture

  • Very interesting historical building, both from the architectural point of view as history. Seat many exhibitions throughout the year.
