  • A canal bridge, which spans the largest river of France, are unusual works of art in our beautiful country. 'Traffic' is important and this path of water with a boat, is the guarantee of a new journey, based out of time. But one little cross the Loire with the canal bridge and admire the beautiful landscapes that surround it.

  • Beautiful bridge over the water where you can cross over the Loire by boat. It's a wonderful experience.  more »
  • We did not at all know the Briare aqueduct or even the town of Briare.. .a corner of France to find out for sure! A nice little town immersed in multiple channels and surrounded by the Loire, a set of barges boats, multiple paths for cycling (the town of Gien for example child's play) and the Briare aqueduct! A channel on a bridge that crosses the Loire! Incredible construction.. .l didn't as it may exist! Really the France is full of beautiful places!

  • Affordable and well located hotel close to the canal bridge. Basic quality standard with private parking and local bike. Big damper on the insistence of the cleaning lady came knocking on our room at 9:30 on a Sunday morning.

  • Mixed especially the next day at breakfast reception. The latter was made up of soft butter (Britons flee!) jams and drinks very low range, and frozen bread. The large and well-maintained, however noisy room (when showers of neighbouring occupants) and soft bedding (bad back the next day). Proximity to the channel very convenient for walks. However I prioritise a guest room next time.
