  • This is a town that can boast sensational attractions of huge forts, an historic bridge, an old town, etc.. We were here a year ago and decided that we'd return to get a visit in to the fort. Couldn't...  more »

  • Definitely worth the trek up the hill! Lots of nice restaurants and little shops and great views. The fortifications were very impressive.  more »

  • Subject: Information relating to the practicability of the pass road of Izoard resident recently at the Laus de Cervières, I counted more than 80 vehicles (for the ones drivers came to inquire at the hostel L ' Arpelin to the Laus) this winter. All wanted to go in the Queyras (guided by their GPS). Observation: the light panel placed at the roundabout at the exit of Briançon, sane announce the closure of cervical Izoard (and not the Izoard) often announces several informational messages. Motorists can miss out on good intelligence. More is not legible, placed at the exit of the roundabout which requires a lot of attention. Finally the tourists don't know about their huge majority the Izoard pass serves... the Queyras (well Yes, GPS requires)!) Proposal: 1 - move the Panel more upstream at the level of the hairpin hair 500 m more far away (HLM), allowing him to be seen for a sufficient period of time. More parking at this location would facilitate the u-turn of the vehicles. 2-good notify the fact that the Izoard pass serves.. .the Queyras. Please take into account this information... that will save time and fuel, not to mention the management of fatigue of the applicants and their nervousness.
