  • Great experience. Excellent value for money. A very good welcome and an accompaniment for the start of the journey, after it is up to you to do with a great booklet to recognize the birds. Walk for at least 3 hours in this beautiful nature and take your eyes off it. Take binoculars if you can, it's worth it. This reserve has absolutely nothing to envy to the Ornithological Reserve of Teich. I highly recommend

  • The welcome is superb! we take the time to explain and advise you. then we accompany you to the first observatory, with a map and pictures of the birds you will meet (not all of course) and ... forward the adventure!! for 3 hours or even 3 hours, we reconnect with nature, we take the time to observe, and we walk in very diverse environments. In addition, the guides are very invested! remember to take a hat and binoculars if you have one... Most of the ride is in full sun....

  • We have come back to this beautiful site, we have seen beautiful birds from the observatories and are delighted: every season is interesting, we saw greylag geese, a passage of cranes, the faithful tadornes, a Knight gambette, ragondins, and even he seems that a lovely Chevrette can come to our meeting: we love this site that respects nature and makes us spend a nice day, in addition on weekdays it's quiet, last Friday we had a beautiful Sun, we were lucky and we will return

  • Frankly, I was very disappointed by this reservation. Yet very accustomed to birdwatching, I have not seen much, the site is still quite wild, but the waterholes are very few. At the end of the reserve new outbuildings are under construction and the backhoe and other gear have made the birds flee. These are not well built: openings too large "caps" above the openings often absent: you point your nose and the birds fly immediately!! No seat to settle quietly in front of the openings, etc... Access to these lookout is poorly conceived: the birds see you coming and it's the leak. A lot of amateurism for a beautiful site very poorly exploited... In fact I was the only one in the reserve!! Another problem: opening at 10am in the morning, it's too late to watch the birds, it would be like elsewhere to open the reserve in the spring around 8AM and 7am in the summer (2 or 3 W-end per month). If you want to see birds, go to Teich, on the Arcachon basin.
