  • Here is a place that is once again out-of-common: come and visit if you like the history of France and wars of religion is troubled by this period: his frescoes are absolutely unusual there is no less than the great characters of the history of France and of the wars of Religion between Catholics & Protestants)... naked and caricatured in mythological character! You will find that this place will leave you not your surprises since two huge pyramidal obelisks keep the entrance of the Park... well Yes! Religions wars have created "pre-maconniques" secret societies! You will find these details in the book: the Gospel according to FRANCIS BACON, puzzles and mysteries in the time of Henri IV to the Blurb Editions. I wish you happy reading!

  • We had written material in English so we pretty much turned a deaf ear to the French guide. The small brochure in English was OK but sparse on the details that bring this chateau to life. The building...  more »
  • What makes the charm of this castle is that it has been kept in its own juice! Guided tour because Castle private with all the explanations. Nice Park with golf autour.
