  • Situated in the South wing of the Bourse. This is a small museum with information in French only but the exhibits speak for themselves. We found the detail very interesting. Many pictures of the river...  more »
  • It is definitely a minor Museum, but is a particular subject. There is also a painting by Monet and the history of duties is far from trivial.

  • The first time I went to the place de la Bourse visited this museum. Had the Pass of Bordeaux and decided to enter ... .... Interesting ... how they worked the customs from ancient times to the present era......... With a very varied filling worth a visit! Full of curious objects..........

  • I stayed on my hunger. It was interesting, but it lacked context. In any case for the free self-guided audio-guide. There were lengthy explanations on different objects in different windows, but without the understanding, it is a bit steep. The free tour is not recommended with children too young in my opinion because boredom comes quickly.

  • An unusual and unique museum where you can learn a lot about history and trades of the customs. Favorites for the anti-gabelle stool, the layout of the hotel of farms or the chart of accounts in 1789.

  • Size is small, but quite good. Not exhibit floor will be soon finished looking.

  • Very surprising this museum. You have a great journey through the history of customs authorities in France and Europe and many different gadgets. It is also very cheap. Seen in 60 - 90 minutes.
