  • Actually the neighborhood and ambiance are cosmopolitan! Producer, primeurs butcher poulterer fishmonger florist grocer piled there peels mixes in a joyful Capernaum. Contrary to what I read, is alive and human. The specialist of Spanish products, Portuguese, to the tradition the French you can find about all at reasonable rates. You can even take the small lunch or coffee growing off white and oysters, or even the Mint and pressed fruit juices! A great living atmosphere! Remains an Enigma not own capucins market but in bordeaux, why the cheeses are so expensive? For the rest of the market welcomes you joyfully from Tuesday to Sunday from six in the morning until thirteen thirty fourteen and a half hours.

  • pleasant discovery, market frequented by residents for shopping but especially by tourists to watch and also for local eats that abound inside. You can eat oysters and fresh seafood but even Spanish or Italian or Portuguese rolls or visit stand present. Definitely worth a visit

  • Love your cheese, love your sweets, pastry, fresh vegetables? love to food shop fresh? love to take a quick coffee/pasty, vino and bite and talk to the marketers .... This place kicks off early and it gets busy and then dies down heading to lunchtime/afternoon Selection of home made and locally produced cheeses is fantastic and the prices are some of the best. We head here each time in bordeaux for a prolonged stay - cheese bought for eating individually or blended into a dish cooked at home Worth a stop for anyone with a nose or palette for food. Support the local producers and individuals
  • Fantastic food market. Absolute must for foodies. Picked up great cheese, bread and olives. Great variety of stalls and places to eat. Fab way to spend a Sunday morning.
  • Best place to buy fresh food in the city
  • Food market with fruits, vegetables, seafood and meat on offer, as well as a few restaurants for a bite or a proper meal. Great atmosphere to enjoy food and you'll be totally spoilt for choice! Come early on a weekend morning before 11.
  • Sunday lunchtime is a must for anyone wanting to live a bit of French culture and sample some tasty gastronomical inventions. Although do your shopping through the week because on the weekend prices rise by 30 - 50% for fruit and veg.
