  • I am a sucker for a good market, even when I'm not actually shopping. The smells, the colours, the bustle - it all adds up to an exciting sensory experience and the Marche des Capucins has all of this...  more »
  • Lovely market with a great section of fresh produce. I would recommend going early in the morning - we arrived at noon and a lot of the sellers were starting to pack up for the day. We purchased home ...  more »

  • Great farmer's market, open every sunday until 14:00. In the summer, it is open every day except Tuesdays also until 14:00 (if I remember correctly).
  • Love your cheese, love your sweets, pastry, fresh vegetables? love to food shop fresh? love to take a quick coffee/pasty, vino and bite and talk to the marketers .... This place kicks off early and it gets busy and then dies down heading to lunchtime/afternoon Selection of home made and locally produced cheeses is fantastic and the prices are some of the best. We head here each time in bordeaux for a prolonged stay - cheese bought for eating individually or blended into a dish cooked at home Worth a stop for anyone with a nose or palette for food. Support the local producers and individuals
  • A little bit of dodgy atmosphere and a terrible parking lot but is worth it for the Moules Frites alone.
  • Fantastic food market. Absolute must for foodies. Picked up great cheese, bread and olives. Great variety of stalls and places to eat. Fab way to spend a Sunday morning.
  • Nice markets where locals und tourists go.
