  • Accessible even at the last moment. Visit private with a passionate and exciting one. She loves the family and you really feel the family behind this wine. It makes it even more typical... This n wine is not sold in supermarkets by personal choice but that is what it is good...

  • Family farm visited by about 1:30 with a passionate guide by his profession. Visit of the belvedere overlooking the vineyards, cellars, and then tasting. A good time with your family.

  • Visit the domain and the lovely Winery, with a bit of history as a bonus. Good tasting then that exceptional wine. Remember to book!

  • For many years I have thoroughly enjoyed Chateau Haut Marbuzet to the extent that it is my favourite wine. I booked a visit to the chateau by phone some 2 weeks before we were due to visit Bordeaux. For me this was akin to a pilgrimage and the visit lived up to all of my (slightly romantic!) expectations. Hosted on a one to one basis we walked the grounds and listened to the family and the estate history before entering the winery, cellars and bottling areas. There followed a tasting and as a bonus my wife fell for Chateau Chambert Marbuzet and I endorsed my love of Haut Marbuzet. A wonderful visit lasting some two hours - interesting, informative and a most pleasant and civilised couple of hours spent in a beautiful location.
  • We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this wine and everything about this winery - beautiful, intimate, lovely people, and delicious wines. It is a must-see with a must-buy selection of incredible wines.
  • A tour of the winery very nice and interesting. A tasting of fine wines. I am spread his hands full.

  • You must not talk about the wines. Excellent! Very personal guided tour and tasting through the head. Highly recommended, also thanks to reasonable prices.

Where to stay in Bordeaux

Most hotels in Bordeaux sit conveniently located a stone's throw away from the train station. Look to Quinconces Square and Gambetta Square for high-end hotels. Those who prefer more budget-friendly accommodations may want to seek out a youth hostel--a relatively recent addition to the city. To secure a spot here, make sure to book ahead of time. In addition to hotels and hostels, choose from guest rooms in a typical Bordeaux house, or a family-friendly beachside campsite.
