  • Small but cool
  • Free entry! So no excuse for not going. Museum of the second world war with sometimes temporary exhibitions. I visited during the exhibition on the liberation of Bordeaux, exhibition that was very well built with many details contextualised. On the other hand, permanent exhibitions are a bit a mess, very dense but poorly explained. Next to it, there is almost nothing to the Museum of Aquitaine. Should the scenographers of the Aquitaine museum come put their grain of salt (and make the systematic pub at the Centre Jean Moulin).

  • Free Museum on the 2nd World War, open only the afternoon. Full of documents and material of time on resistance, the concentration camps and the nazis. Many posters of era, projection of archives ina... a lot of things to read. The windows on the deportees are chilling.
