CAPC Musee d'Art Contemporain, opened in 1983 in a 19th-century warehouse, is home to hundreds of works by 140 artists. Look for conceptual artworks and Arte Povera pieces, represented by artists such as Sol LeWitt, Daniel Buren, Viallat Claude, Richard Long, and Mario Merz. Jean-Charles Blais, Tony Oursler, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Spanish figurative artist Miquel Barcelo are also represented. The museum library features audio and video related to contemporary art and architecture.
