Chateau de Billy is a ruined 13th to 14th century medieval castle that is listed as a historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture. The main fortification has an ovoid (egg-shaped) layout with a hexagonal watchtower overlooking the streets that curve around the walls of the castle. The southern wall has a walkway with a splendid panoramic view of the Allier valley.   • Pretty village and very well kept medieval fortress hour tour possible of the fortress we did not visiting hours the afternoon in September

  • Visit the fortress of Billy in family. The guide's explanations are very interesting and passionate about children and adults. We are delighted to have learned a little more about the middle ages.

  • i just stayed outside and take a stroll around in the very picturesque town.. it was a nice walk and i was there to take some pics..
