  • If you have less than two hours to visit a monument in Besançon (it takes longer for the Citadel) this museum is worthwhile even for a novice and I'd hate to be in Besançon and not to see a Museum of watchmaking and the time.

  • It must indeed take the time to understand the evolution of watchmaking in recent centuries. In addition to the interest presented by the pieces and presented explanations, do not miss the rise "under the roof": the splendid view of the old Besançon worth it alone. Recommended for all audiences.

  • A different museum building is splendid. the watch collection is interesting can be not comprehensive enough and the floor story is however very well highlighted.

  • I went to a Sunday because it was free. Their collection of watches and clock is very beautiful. Nevertheless, the museum itself is not perfect, we get lost and museography/scenography which has been redone, there is little time is more than average. We have to ask a staff member to go in order to follow the agenda of the visit... I think that for a walk free is good. If I had paid, I would have been disappointed.

  • Great collection on the theme of time, of beautiful exhibits. You realize how watchmaking is fascinating.

  • A very nice Museum! To see absolutely because it is a "piece" of history of the city. Very nice collection of watches!

  • Free on Sundays and holidays! See for its superb collections and the Foucault pendulum.
