  • I have to be honest, until I went to the tasting at La Cave de l'Ange Gardien I was not overly impressed with Burgundy or their wines. I tend to prefer California wines, and because we drink wine most...  read more »
  • A Wonderbox offered allowed us to discover this hidden cellar of the road. But once inside, it's hard to leave: tasting and explanations at the top, our host charming and full of passion for his trade us enchanted. We are left with "stars" no not in my eyes, but in the mouth and nose... A real trip to the land of the best wine in the world

  • Extremely friendly service with an extensive tasting of various levels of Burgundy wines and a detailed explanation of each wine. Five whites, five reds, a sparkling Burgundy, and finally a kir royale (Champagne flavored with a fruit liqueur) made with creme de cassis. It takes a couple hours but is entertaining and informative, well worth the time. Make a reservation due to the length of the tasting, and they try to group customers by language.
  • This was the most in depth and educational wine tasting I've ever been on, lasting a couple hours. I am infinitely more knowledgeable about French wine, especially Burgundian wines, as a result. The tasting walks you through many different types of wine, including a sparkling and a creme de cassis in the end. It was all done in good humor with fun stories from our host Pierre. If you can get a reservation during your time in Burgundy, I would definitely recommend doing it.
  • A must-see if you want both know the history of the city and the story of the vine. The master of the stone is a born Narrator is drunk these lyrics. Initially tasting scheduled for 2 hours and we spent 4 hours and one not see the time passing. A real bubble d enchantment.

  • We wanted to experience a wine tasting during our stay in Beaune and our bed and breakfasts recommended us this address. This is not a traditional cellar and the decor is pretty atypical, but is not the most important. I will explain... We were looking for a few regional wines and very kindly owner Pierre invited us to join a tasting within a group. And there, of never seen before! We had the chance to taste "16 different wines" (white, red, and the sparkling). A unique and friendly experience! I challenge you to find a similar address in the vicinity... For anglophones, it is also possible to make the tasting in French - Pierre speaks very well! We keep an unforgettable memory and will return without hesitation!
