  • Very pretty setting, beautiful place, but book a bit much for tourists. Certainly the wine to enjoy is excellent but the cost not to afford.

  • Place in Beaune. Visit and tasting with a group of friends (8 people) in a very nice cellars dating from the 15th century, during the sale of wines of the Hospices de Beaune. Downside: Many more people. Advantage: Tasting more prestigious than usual 9 wines whose first and Grands Crus. 4 white wines including 1 Puligny-Montrachet, 1 1 charms Meursault Cru and 1 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru. 5 red wines including 1 Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard 2008 1, 1 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1 vintage 2007 and 1 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2007. We had a very good time. All of these wines is not often available in the same tasting. Do if possible with friends or in a group to have different felt and opinion. The wine we like enjoy it but we also like to talk about! Tip: avoid the 'first price' tastings without too much interest. Better to pay a little more (when you can) and taste something better (which gives at least a glimpse of Burgundy). After the pleasure of the palate with wine, the pleasure of the eyes with the contemporary art gallery that shares now places with the wine market. She really deserves a visit with beautiful and original works... only, if the wine seems already expensive purchase in Burgundy, while you say works in this gallery...

  • A place to taste and buy expensive wines. They also have exhibitions of fantastic works of art.
  • Good place to come with your own company. Taught me why some years are good. How to drink wines with bad years. Place to return. Gallery is worth to see. Don't remember the disappointments ... which is good I guess xD
  • Absolutely fantastic tasting all the different wines. If you're in Beaune you have to check it out
  • About the wine tasting offered to tourists ... the tasting (and wine in genral) is quite costly here and the quality of the first wines (we tasted 6) is subpar. If this would have been my burgundy wine-experience I'd have been heavily disappointed ... there is so much better and fairer priced wine available just a few streets away at the wine-seller the locals go to. IMHO a tourist rip-off. That said, the location is really very nice and also ther art-gallery is really intersting (therefor the second star ;)
  • Great wines! Save yourself for better wines at the end
