  • Very professional reception, private guide for the two of us, a nice tour through the cellars... and -- most of all -- a great selection of wines (premier and grand cru only), showing the true colours...  more »
  • Very good tasting at Bouchard. Attentive, pleasant staff and who knows how to take his time with customers. So, nothing to do with your competitors... c is always a pleasure to see you!

  • Being amateur of Bouchard for years I wanted to discover the House to friends and myself the cellars buried in the former fort of the Castle. You need to book as the Bouchard House really wants to treat the visit and offer an unforgettable experience to its visitors. We were welcomed by Adrien, a charming young man and a true wine professional who responded with humor and patience to all our questions. The visit is very interesting and informative. It is touching to see rest of very old bottles, some dating back to the XIX century. The Tower in the gardens of the Castle also worth a visit. Tasting that follows takes place in a private room. We taste 7 different wines with accompanying the must-see gougères. All the wines were good and several even sublime. The range is very homogeneous and all wines benefit from attention to be representative of their respective appellations. Burgundy wines are expensive but Bouchard wines are accessible for the amateur. For those who want to cellar treasures I recommend some pearls of wine "domain" including the 1st Crus of Meursault in white (Gennevrieres and Perrières) and the Beaune 1 Cru vineyard of the child Jesus in red. Among others... In any case it is a gourmet and informative visit that I highly recommend.

  • Incredible history. Huge, prestigious wine company with their own vineyards. Rest of group no shows so I had personal tour of cellar with guide. Tasting fee + tour 25 euro but probably fair with premiere cru tasting.
  • One of my favorite wineries in Burgundy. Their Chateau, with its distinctive roof that can be seen all over Beaune, their two rampart towers with wine cellar beneath, and their state of the art winery just north of town, are without equal. The people are very nice and professional. The wines range from very good to unbeliveably outstanding. A must visit for the astute wine drinker.
  • Dealer recommended by the world atlas of wine.
