  • One of the most moving and possibly the most beautiful of all of the sites on the Western Front in remembrance to the Great War. Not only does the park contain the iconic caribou memorial to Newfoundland, but also three small but beautiful cemeteries, two divisional memorials and a shell cratered landscape. It's a wonderful place to walk and reflect. Highly recommended.
  • A very solemn place, I highly recommend visiting Beaumont Hamel and the Somme. Lest we forget. In the going down of the sun and in the morning we shall never forget. 1914 - 1918
  • I loved it. I keep getting blown away by every cemetery and monument I go to. I'm never disappointed and highly recommend Beaumont-Hamel. It is the perfect site to see the trench system and battle ground.
  • Incredible place. Till today scary -- even 100 year later. Canadians guides are fantastic. I recommend to ask for a guided tour which is free of charge and is perform by fantastic canadian students.
  • This is a park with memorials, cemeteries, trenches and cratered ground. I suggest starting the visit in Visitors Centre, when you can attend guided tour, which is free and interesting. The staff is extremely cordial. The visit takes about 1.5 hours.
