  • Full of information about the basque region, its history and its culture. There is even a typical 'treasure hunt' (answers to questions to find) to get children interested a little more at the Museum's Advisor.

  • Very versatile museum with interesting expo "before and after photos" of Bayonne. The museum is both beautiful inside and out. The guided tour was fine, you are watching the city with different eyes.

  • The Museum's great well located in front of the river Nive. There's no parking. You have to go on foot. Or leave the car in the parking lot of the municipal market is across the river. Admission is 8 euros. Today Sunday was free-first Sunday of the month. Has two guided tours an the 11:00 and another the 3:00 pm if you want can wait and follow. French, Spanish or Basque. Timetables, values, other information has a site Museum. There's a shop on the way out. And several interactive tables in rooms. Many floors. It's worth it.

  • Magnificent insight into the Basque culture, housed in an old seacaptain's house right along the river. The building has many additions, nooks and crannies, so you get a feel for the various eras during which construction occurred. The museum provides a thorough overview of the Basque, from the various forms of jai alai, to the grave stones with their arcane carvings. Many artifacts are on display. Must see when in Bayonne.
  • Magnific basq
  • At the moment there is a room dedicated to an architect who has modeled the city of San Sebastian 1813 before the disaster of the war led by the anglo troops / Portuguese. You can visit the town augmented reality! C is huge! Really great work!

  • Museum of the history of the Basque country, very informative and many exhibits, interesting not only in bad weather.

  • Museum with ancient objects, extraordinarily basque nothing, except the basque pelota course part. The big least objects with just a sign giving their name and not their use or usefulness...
