  • The basque Museum is very interesting and a great way to get to know the Basque traditions. We recommend a guided tour, our guide Pascale was especially nice to listen; and we learned a lot during this visit because of her.

  • Well worth a visit. It is very difficult to summarize a people and its culture, but I think the overview it is done is relatively complete. There was also a photo of Bayonne formerly exhibition which was exciting. To do.

  • Magnificent insight into the Basque culture, housed in an old seacaptain's house right along the river. The building has many additions, nooks and crannies, so you get a feel for the various eras during which construction occurred. The museum provides a thorough overview of the Basque, from the various forms of jai alai, to the grave stones with their arcane carvings. Many artifacts are on display. Must see when in Bayonne.
  • Magnific basq
  • At the moment there is a room dedicated to an architect who has modeled the city of San Sebastian 1813 before the disaster of the war led by the anglo troops / Portuguese. You can visit the town augmented reality! C is huge! Really great work!

  • Museum of the history of the Basque country, very informative and many exhibits, interesting not only in bad weather.

  • Museum with ancient objects, extraordinarily basque nothing, except the basque pelota course part. The big least objects with just a sign giving their name and not their use or usefulness...
