  • Good but not one sign or label inside had any english. I personally don't like audioguides and just prefer to walk around and read the signs. Ok, I'm in France, but museums are for tourists also!
  • Magnificent insight into the Basque culture, housed in an old seacaptain's house right along the river. The building has many additions, nooks and crannies, so you get a feel for the various eras during which construction occurred. The museum provides a thorough overview of the Basque, from the various forms of jai alai, to the grave stones with their arcane carvings. Many artifacts are on display. Must see when in Bayonne.
  • Beautiful. If you want historical information about Basque country you can find here.
