  • A few hundreds of meters from the motorway exit bayonne north industrial area (behind KFC) is the bayonne (andrieu chocolates) chocolate factory. The stalls are one settled for the eyes and the saleswoman made taste, it is excellent, there's inventiveness, the tastes, tastes rather; scientists mixtures (espelette pepper) and there is necessarily one that you please. the idea of making bouquets of chocolate is really nice, there are also powder, pacifiers and other chocolate treats. Lighting and the presentations of the chocolates are very good. Good value for money, and we do live a local factory. There are also tours from the factory with tasting at the end; €6 adults, €3 children, what to spend a good time.

  • Tucked under an arcade, this chocolate shop offers a good selection of artisan chocolates. You can buy prepackaged chocolates or by the pound. They also have a sister shop in Saint Jean de Luz.
  • A rainy day, why not visit the chocolate? Kids, especially at the end of the visit, the workshop where they can make themselves a chocolate fish and their chocolates tasting offered to adults as to children!

  • The visit isn't particularly practical and specialises in simply presenting the history of making chocolate and the methods used today. However, the visit concludes with a chance for children under 12 to decorate a white chocolate fish - included in the ticket price. There is also a variety of chocolate to try which is expected. All the information is in French. About half the information is offered in English and Spanish additionally.
  • Great place to go with your kids. Be sure to go there in the morning to watch the maitre chocolatier do their work!
  • Visit interesting with a view of the garment factories. Tasting at the end. Staff friendly
