  • I was thinking about something more interesting, but it's probably because I'm not fond of these things. Anyway I was hoping there were explanations and demonstrations on various types of processing, so send me some culture on the subject, instead of nothing. Tiny environment, dedicated also to the sale, to visit only if really passionate.

  • This local, close to the Cathedral, somewhat unnoticed for the non where the knowledge of the language is not good. By pure chance I had entered the Museum Baron Gerard, but my family did not want to visit it. However I went into the shop and there had exposed the traditional work called "Dentelle". As I did not know anything about it and it was beautiful, I asked the lady that took care of it and she told me that they were the work of "tiptoe" typical of Bayeux... Then when I went ahead of the "Bayeux Dentell", already knew what was there!. Fortunately, because a real treasure is what they do in that same local there are women of all ages working live with this ancient technique. It seems extremely complicated!. It is beautiful to see them work and parts that are beautiful. Some are sold for a high price, since already fully justified by the time and knowledge that make them. Don't miss it!
