  • Founded in the 12 e s, the Abbey were the Lucerne is located between Avranches and Granville, in a vast green and peaceful. Its restoration, undertaken since 50 years on the initiative of a young passionate Abbot, offers visitors a beautiful architectural complex dominated by a superbly saved Romanesque church. A few adjacent buildings recall the presence of the monks. In the surrounding park, the beautiful home of the Abbot owner and various constructions built over the centuries including a mill and an imposing aqueduct supplying the machines of a former mill installed in the walls of the Abbey after the Revolution. Also note a very beautiful and vast loft attesting to the importance of the commercial activities of this place. All travels in 60 to 90 minutes, following a clear and interesting informative staking. Friendly staff that deserves to be highlighted.

  • Always as pretty place and work is progressing. However this year tours no longer exist and the panels are far from everything. Major damage!
