  • Weather, superb walk in the Park of this important Abbey were nestled in the hollow of a small Valley Green Palm. Since the 1960s many buildings crumbling received a copy backup and a spectacular but scrupulous restoration always underway. The tour is free and many explanatory signs along the way between Gatehouse, Abbey Romanesque cellars, colombier, water plant and Abbey House... I highly recommend to lovers of history, of old stones and tranquility, 15 km from Granville.

  • Located at the bottom of a beautiful Valley this Abbey is a haven for meditation. The various buildings to see the genius of the builders and especially perseverance of men to rebuild a beautiful place. Thanks to those who helped save this so majestic Abbey. Small shop offering very good products. Hydrants explanations in french and English very educational. It would be good to double in German and Italian.

  • I discovered this place ruined when I was doing markets during my military service on the 1st Rima at Granville in 1970. Today it is a marvel. Congratulations to all those who participated in the restoration work.

  • Always as pretty place and the work is progressing. However since this year tours no longer exist and the panels are far from all to tell. Big pity!
