  • We went after a visit to nearby Talmont (beautiful old village). Despite being August, we more or less had the place to ourselves. Museum indoors interesting with a large variety and number of objects...  more »

  • From the tops of France, our visit was made outside school holidays with my daughter... Arrived at 2 pm, friendly allowed us to have a quick overview of the site, an overview of the Museum and exhibitions before joining our guide. What to say? Stéphane (the guide) kept us in suspense for almost 2 hours, presenting us with all the specifics of the site... and its potential! Mention it here would be to lift the veil on information that it is better to discover out there! Helped a (very) large digital tablet, the augmented reality used by Stéphane allows you to get an idea of the incredible nature of the place. Regardless of the place where arises the look, inside or outside the site, Gallo-Roman city is where... under our feet, around us over 50 hectares and concealed underground! We then to workshops offered by Nadège: daily life, food and cosmetics. Once again, complete and exciting presentations! In total, 3 hours and 45 minutes to visit a site which requires a visit! 10 days later, we returned...

  • The site does not pay fe mine, but worth the drive. The Museum is very well organized: modern and fresh. The notes are clear. But above all take your time and take the guided tour because the wealth of additional information could be put in memo or video.

  • The Fa is not only a museum but all around we discover the remains of a city ancient theatre, baths. And especially a team that discovered the Roman civilization through workshops and entertainment as the advent of the Legio IV Ferrata this great summer!

  • The visible remains are mostly restored but in the rules of art. Beautiful original pieces in the Museum. The admission price is reasonable and the interventions are passionate and exciting. We had the pleasure to see on site the "legion" offering to the children of the exercises that have been very successful... Just like the site staff workshops. In short, a good day :-D

  • Exceptional in the corner, say these places have lived with the Romans... it takes your breath away, the remnants, highlighted, leave it to the imagination to ship to these times (there are several). This civilization was governed like ours, we go down a bit anyway, and can be trace on their way of life, it has changed much, but it has evolved... Passing through or nearby, do not hesitate: make the move to discover this place.
