    In this large bourgeois House located in the middle of the municipal park, the tour begins with the collections of old items used in farms and homes of Barcelonnette: tools for work in the fields, sheep shearing, the objects of life current (irons, Porta crib to take the child at harvest or work in the fields, bassinoires...), the second floor is dedicated to the history of the inhabitants who emigrated to the Mexico. Some returned wealthy, others have not found the expected wealth. The third floor is devoted to painting and to the works of the local artists. The explanations given by the guide are alive and exciting.

    We discover the local and rural lifestyles and the Mexican adventure of the Barcelonnettes, some beautiful paintings. The place is a mansion that is worth a visit in itself.

    Went there for Zucchero during the Festival des enfants du Jazz. Great concert! The place is quite small so you can see well even if you are in the back rows I suppose. I was in front however.
