Visit educational and interesting, we had a child of 8 years with us who a love this course, but too bad that day - her we didn't know before d ' happen that the lower part of the River was in the works, has fifteen days close we could see her. The surroundings of the cave are very beautiful we are in Burgundy deep beautiful landscapes. And thanks to the staff of the cave d ' Azé intensely tribute to Laura miners during the visit because they deblaye the cave. As daughter and little - girl of minors I was touched. Finally, I would advise to make it more attractive to light c is more attractive than being in the dark and discover as the visit.

The tour is interesting but not a reference in terms of caves. The visit is clumsily conducted, the monotonous guide is little captivating, the tone and speech more suited to young audiences. The caves were certainly due to their history, many built by man and lack singularity and unexpected. Visit lagging behind in length, groups are too many, and because of this, € 8 per person remain slightly in my throat. I recommend in the presence of children. Otherwise, no real interest in visiting the Azé caves, and even if the latter boast to have shelter human species, I recommend a lot more those of Blanot who they have a side atypical.

We visited the caves as a diversion for our grandson during a gastronomic journey in Burgundy. Among the many we visit in Italy and abroad cannot be considered of major interest, but their particularity interesting Speleological anyway. Are in fact generated by an underground river that in the various geological eras to make inroads dug/penetrated the crevices at two different levels depending on the altitude of the flaps. The peculiarity is that these are two tubular-like paths almost overlapped, one lower and damp which is of geological interest, the highest, that accommodated human and animal life forms. Few stalactites and stalagmites formations due to the nature of the soil, with the exception of some large stalactites and a whitish color. Interesting instead the concretions found on some times with yellow, purple or green depending on the minerals scattered in areas crossed by water. Visits are always guided and takes place in high season with intervals of 1 hour for groups of no more than 40 people. In these times it is best to book otherwise it's like us having to recur after a few hours to reach max altitude of visitors.

Fantastic fun and great for kids. I'd definitely recommend

Very small (12") stalagmites / stalactites. The caves were opened by miners so it felt more like walking through a mine tunnel rather than a natural cavern.

Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. Provide a little jacket for chilly. Guided tour of about one hour. The guide was very good. Small flat, she wasn't strong enough. We were a group of 10 people so not that simple for those who are behind. I highly recommend a visit!

We had a very good time! The guides are awesome, super savvy, very involved in their topic and all that with a lot of humor! It is an informative stroll but also entertaining, accessible to any type of people. We will return to the Azé caves with great pleasure!
