Quel beau château et quelle magnifique visite ! Voici un endroit où la visite guidée est un réel plaisir - ce qui est loin d'être le cas dans les demeures plus glamour ou tout simplement plus célèbres... more »What beautiful and what beautiful tour! Here is a place where the tour is a real pleasure - what is far the case in the more glamorous or all homes just more famous... Previous contributors have had good reason to brag about the quality of the furniture, paintings and other objects that can be seen here: it's a pure delight!
Un château très beau, légué par Mme hersent-luzarche afin d'être ouvert aux visiteurs et possédant encore tout ses meubles magnifiques d'époque (et des choses insolites issus des voyages des ancêtres,... more »A beautiful castle, bequeathed by Mrs. hersent-luzarche in order to be open to visitors and still with all its beautiful period furniture (and unusual things from trips of the ancestors, particularly in Africa... I say not more not to spoil the surprise). Has a very large park and a beautiful garden with rose gardens. There are visits guided of the Park and the Castle, but unfortunately both at the same times, impossible so to do the 2 (/!-beware the "every 30 min of the site tour" is not required, they are all 1:30 so be careful to calculate arrival and not to come after 4 pm because the last is at 4:30 and then the Castle closes at 18: 00) , so you have time to see anything to Park (a lot of trees but this is still a huge expanse of grass and fields come so that this not worth the, even though the small part rose garden is beautiful). The visit guided (Marion) is made on the run, you can't linger to take pictures or watch, the atmosphere is quite tense and uninviting, the guide knows his subject but is part of the "a little snobby" around the edges, we see it quickly to his comments and remarks. She tries to lighten the mood or to catch up when she realizes she replied a little dryly to a visitor or made a remark average customer "relationship" level but it often falls flat. The person at the front desk is friendly but has trouble answering questions (visit schedule, rates spe... bcp hesitation, perhaps a new just arrived from a few days ago?) Because otherwise, it's really cheesy). While the guide is cultivated but backwards receives visitors (who we do feel it is a privilege to the peasants wanting to take photos to be allowed to go and visit) even if we feel she seems to make efforts to recover. There are others who were visiting the gardens, including one that took the next tour because there was too many people; These, however were very friendly and attended to visitors. We enjoyed listening to them in passing. Conclusion: the castle is really worth the trip because it has beautiful furniture and that the visit is still interesting, but it would be good to allow time for visitors to enjoy the rooms and rework the customer home. It is important to make people want to go back to the people...
Immense parc, avec jardins à la française et topiaire, roseraie, fruitiers, et jardins à l'anglaise...de quoi se balader et se détendre Quant au château, meublé, il vaut bien la visite. La petite vill... more »Huge park, with French and Topiary gardens, rose garden, fruit trees, and the English garden... of what walk around and relax on the Castle, furnished, well worth the visit. The town area is lovely.
Beautiful but the full trophy room was quite weird.
