  • Visit with the owner, an extraordinary old lady who makes you share his passion for all things exposed in the House: costumes, objects, paintings, a very picturesque moment.

  • impressive to find as many rare pieces in a somewhat cramped place to show the richness of the collection. the guided tour by owners and collectors of the place is very interesting and informative. See to get back into the history of France

  • Amazing, surprising, rewarding that this Museum in the former suit hunting lodge of the prince of Condé in Avallon, where hundreds of period clothing are exposed, from the 18th century to the 1970s. All of this is guided by a charming young lady of 96. A real encyclopedia.

  • Upon arrival at the Museum, the atmosphere is given by the home of a person who obviously loves his job, courtesy in person, while smile, who said you with a tone of nicer (irony when you hold us) that you are at the Museum of costume (no kidding?). Visit given an hour is done in 15 minutes (and again...) in the half-light that causes you an ill be and gives the place a pretty murky atmosphere. Costumes can cared for, and is still the costumes "of our time"... Certainly, the Museum was not awarded since the year 1800... Brief 4 euro, expensive visit...

  • L print enter a d horror movie sets. As soon as l arrived, one wonders if the Museum is still open. You still enter to meet a very unpleasant Lady, which blows when one asks him a question. Here the visit... in an atmosphere worthy d a d horror film. Dark (all lights are not lit), cold and without any explanation. Going from room to room as you visit the haunted house a park attraction. Qu a hurry to leave. No explanation, no living soul... The collection does not promise listed in the guide of the Museum. A terrifying tour that will have cost 8euros.

  • There must be staff love their craft, unfortunately not here because at noon less than ten madame share and ignores perhaps the only visitor of the day. Especially since I didn't have much time a devoted. Damage
